Why I'm Running

I’m running for School Board to give back to the community that has given us so much. I want to continue to create an educational experience for students to set them up for success and have an exceptional staff at the helm. I am committed to a transparent, high-integrity process that builds trust and will strive to provide an experience from the school board that I want as a parent, volunteer, taxpayer & community member

Community Involvement

I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to serve in various capacities within the community. From leadership roles in the PTA, participation in Leadership Germantown, showing the next generations career options and giving kids high fives while sweating in a Raccoon costume, I have enjoyed every moment of it. If elected, I will continue to be an active member of the community and a friendly face at our schools.

Community — I believe that when we work together, we will achieve more for our students and our community. I am motivated to get people involved, break down even more walls and make us unstoppable

Education gives our children opportunities for success. I will strive to ensure that our students and teachers have the resources they need to succeed.

Integrity — Let's continue the transparency with decisions made, honesty and setting expectations for all. The general public isn't aware of the extensive time, effort and emotions that contribute to making the choices that affect our district. I will continue to uphold us to the highest standards

Fiscal Responsibility — These are our taxes. Let's find the best value with the resources we have and be mindful of what the community has contributed to make our schools great

The Yu Family

Hello from the Yu family! We are a family of 5 and have lived in the Germantown School District for 12 years. Our children are spread amongst each major school level with one at Rockfield, one at Kennedy Middle School & one at Germantown High School. Even with the busy schedules, we try to find time to volunteer and give back. We hope to see you around in the community and you'll see one of us as a friendly face in the Rockfield Elementary front office!
